The Haunting

The oldest grave marker at Ball Cemetery is reported to be dated 1869, and many apparitions have been reported here over the years. One is a tall male with a bad temper who walks around after dark, sometimes attacking late-night visitors. Another is Mary Mumford, who is buried here. Folks have heard her voice and laughter and felt her tugging on their clothes. Other strange things here include gravestones that tip over and right themselves and ectoplasmic mists that appear in photos.

NOTE: No trespassing is allowed here at night. The cemetery is reported to be watched over by its living neighbors, who aren't afraid to use a shotgun against trespassers.

People report a hostile tall male figure, Mary Mumford's voice/laughter/clothing tugs, moving gravestones, and photographic mists. The entry now foregrounds legal access and neighbor concerns.
