Berclair Mansion
Berclair Mansion is a 1936 South Texas historic house museum in Berclair, Goliad County, built by ranching heiress Etta Wilkinson Terrell. The 22-room, roughly 10,000-square-foot mansion is notable for its steel-and-concrete construction, original furnishings, global antiques, and preservation by the Beeville Art Association. Its haunting reputation centers on an elderly female apparition, footsteps, voices, and lights turning on in the vacant house.
